The Cheer for Life Foundation was created in July of 2004, becoming a stand-alone organization after many years as a fiscally-sponsored program of the Jon Sims Center for the Arts. Since CHEER SF's inception as a non-profit agency, they have raised and charitably donated upwards of $200,000 both locally and nationally - as well as internationally - to 40+ fellow non-profit agencies around the globe who provide services to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging conditions.
Folsom Cheer E.L.I.T.E. is a sister squad to CHEER SF in our third year as a PCA team, to their 30 years in 2010. How do we fit in? We participate in Charity Events and Festivals organized by CHEER SF, where they give us the opportunity to help raise money for so many deserving non-profits and charities, through Cheerleading.
